Last year, after having our first child, we – the married duo that is Creative Butter – noticed a glaring gap in the mommy market. We sought to fill it by creating a product called the Hooter Holster, which is a cute and comfortable hands free pumping bra. As Hooter Holster’s Product Managers, Creative Butter supervises every lifecycle stage (planning, forecasting, production and marketing) necessary to bring this new product to market. We created it, we named it, we branded it, we manufactured it, we tested it, we packaged it, and we launched it. Now, we are product marketing it. Advertising-wise, we are taking a careful and thoughtful approach by leveraging specialized social media channels and a fully functioning eCommerce website as our main consumer touch-points. Those, along with targeted public relations outreach and a glorious milk carton inspired package design round out the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) so far.
