How many times have I read an article and noticed typos or grammar errors? The answer is far too often. (And I do realize, dear reader, that you are going to be scouring this blog post looking for any mistakes so I will do my darndest to make you proud.) The existence of said published content (often from reputable sources) begs the question, is published better than perfect? In this modern age of superfluous (lit, overflowing – yes, I do recall this SAT word) content, it appears that just “getting it out there” makes is acceptable for the writer to skip over some of the old basics like checking grammar and spelling. Now, you may be thinking to yourself, “There, they’re, their. Calm down little grammar Nazi,” but I cannot and I will not! In an effort to preserve my sanity and the sanctity of the written word, I offer up a brief list of resources for you to utilize for your grammar and spelling-related questions.
